1. About Unstag

Unstag is provided by SkillCrunch Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”). The Service includes the mobile apps on Apple App Store and Google Play, and related features such as anonymous posts, campus feeds (Explore / My Campus), comments, chats, coins, crush cards, badges, verification, and notifications.

2. Eligibility

• You must meet the applicable store age rating (currently 16+ on the App Store) and be legally able to agree to these Terms.
• Unstag is intended for college and university students. You may be required to verify eligibility using a college email and/or student ID.
• You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with your institution’s rules and local laws.

3. Accounts & verification

• You must provide accurate verification information. Impersonation, fake IDs, or using someone else’s credentials is prohibited.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping login access secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification, appear fraudulent, or violate these Terms.
• Verified status does not guarantee that every user is truthful at all times; report abuse when you see it.

4. Anonymous use & community rules

Unstag exists so students can share and discuss campus life with reduced social pressure. Anonymity is a privilege that depends on responsible use.

You agree not to:

• Post harmful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or illegally discriminatory content.
• Doxx, threaten, stalk, sexually exploit, or encourage violence against anyone.
• Share others’ private information, intimate images, or content meant to shame or blackmail.
• Post pornography, extreme gore, or content involving minors in a sexual context.
• Spam, scam, phish, or run unauthorized promotions or bots.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer anonymity protections, scrape the Service, or probe other users’ identities.
• Interfere with the Service, bypass security, or access non-public systems.
• Use Unstag for any unlawful purpose.

5. User content

• You retain ownership of content you create, but you grant Unstag a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
• You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate law or others’ rights.
• We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or creates safety/legal risk, with or without notice.
• Public posts may be visible to verified students in relevant campus or Explore contexts according to product design.

6. Coins, rewards & virtual features

Unstag may offer coins, badges, crush cards, unlocks, or similar in-app benefits based on engagement or other rules we publish in-app.

• Virtual items have no real-world cash value unless we expressly say otherwise in writing.
• We may change earning rates, redeemability, or availability at any time.
• Abuse of reward systems (fake engagement, exploits) may void balances and lead to enforcement action.

7. Chats & messaging

Where chat features are available, the same community rules apply. Do not share illegal content, solicit sexual content from minors, or attempt to coerce identity disclosure. We may use automated and manual tools to review reports and enforce safety.

8. Intellectual property

The Unstag name, logo, illustrations, UI, and software are owned by SkillCrunch Private Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our brand assets or software except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

9. App stores

Your download and use may also be subject to Apple App Store or Google Play terms. In case of conflict regarding store distribution, the store’s terms may apply between you and the store provider. Purchases, refunds, and billing disputes for store transactions are handled under the applicable store policies.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that Unstag will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure at all times. Campus posts reflect user opinions and are not verified statements by Unstag. You use the Service at your own risk to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillCrunch Private Limited and its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim or (b) INR 5,000, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension & termination

You may stop using Unstag at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update features and these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections that apply to you.
